Re: Sigma 8 F3.5 and its sharpness

WOW,
I have just tried the very first tip given (by Hans) I was
astonished to see what a big difference it makes with just radius
and % set up as suggested.
To be honest with the Nikkor 10.5 I have never been worried too much
about any issue like vignetting, chromatic aberration... even the
sharpness... occasionally I was sharping I would say "randomly", but
it was not always needed (well at least to my eyes!).
I now understand that with the Sigma is another story.
If you want to get some good results you need to manipulate
accordingly.
A couple of things I wanted to ask in relation to your posts:
1] Would you confirm the chromatic aberration has to be checked for
each shot and you cannot save the settings to use them for other
shots? (That is to say: the Chromatic Aberration changes with the
photo taken, light conditions, contrast etc uniquely for each shot)
2] Similarly the noise: shall I gather the profile from each shot?
or I need to use a dark calibration technique like the one explained
here:

Thanks guys
