Question - If someone was to create a fully sperical panorama without using
a fish-eye and display it using any current version of PTViewer, does that
infringe the 'patent' in itself?

In other words, If this 'patent' is aimed at the production process up to
the point at which the fully stitched flat 'jpg is published (be it on a
website or for commercial distribution in any way) then surely it is up to
the photographer and stitcher to decide whether they want to risk using this
method or not. After that, as I understand it, there is no risk to Helmut or
any site using his viewer.

Have I got that right?

I will support Helmut and this community in any way I can to ensure that
ourselves and our audience aren't forced into accepting what some other
companies think is a good product.
