That's a surprise.  So I guess that stays eh?  :-)

Couple of things -- you could have flashing lights,
clanging bells and a voice over shouting "CLICK DRAG
THE MOUSE TO MOVE THE IMAGE."  And some people still wouldn't
get it.  No device is ever going to be understood by everybody.
The best you can hope for is to improve the number of first time
responders.

Also, no one device is ever going to find favor with every panographer.
There's always going to be a few that -- no matter what you do -- are
going to say, "that sucks!"  But don't let that stop you.  A thoughtful
person can figure out ways to improve first time response even if
some other thoughtful people don't like the idea.
