I don't think so. I think it is too divorced from the real thing; we 
understand what this warping/spinning globe thingy implies, but it 
would be meaningless eye-candy to someone who didn't already 
understand.

Nice experiments and examples though! Regardless of whether the 
outcome proves to be a success or not, it is important to do these 
things well - and you're certainly doing that.
