Hi Roger,
Thanks for having a look (that goes for all others too, thanks!).

I have Opera 9.63 on my WinXP (32 bit) machine, and I haven't
experienced the defects you have encountered (yet). I use Opera only
for testing, not for regular browsing, so I'm not too familiar with it
and I didn't change any of its default settings. Does the problem go
away if you refresh the page?

Both Opera and Safari have given me problems with (partially)
transparent elements, probably a safety measure against the bad guys,
so in all honesty I must say I am quite pleased not to see too many of
them in my site statistics ;)

As to your question about your site, I think it would be best if you
PM me, so you can explain in detail what it is you want to use and how
I can help you implement it. Do note that by modern standards my site
is quite primitive: there is no content management system, no (real)
database, no dynamic elements etc, etc! I've written all code in
Wordpad and as a result maintenance is dreadful. But I do think it
looks rather nice already AND I want to thank you for liking it too :)

Kindest regards,

Erik Leeman
