As i remember the tip has been given from several people including me. In
fact my motivation for this tip was the same as yours, Erik :-)
I think, Edward did some nadir shots, but only out of the helicopter door,
not below the helicopter. This would have made a good stitch _much_ more
easier.

Regarding the heli-pilot and his inability to hold the position within a few
meters: I am no pilot at all, so i may be wrong - but looking on the "map"
of the shots i suspect the heli-pilot has done a small curve instead of
rotating stationary. Don't hit me, but in my eyes i would suggest a better
pilot...
This makes me admiring pilots of rescue-helicopters a lot more. I have often
watched them transporting an emergency surgeon - hanging on a rope sometimes
dozens of meters below the helicopter - towards a injured person in a steep
slope high up in a mountain. And the best of all: They manage to stand
absolutely still in the air for some minutes! Looks very easy when you watch
them but it must be like hell (and like an eternity) for the pilot...
For your imagination:

As you can see, the pilot is navigating in such a situation through the
floor window and the installed mirrors!
Here a suggestion for your next shot, Edward:

;-)

To be back on topic again. Edward, if you are willing to share your raw
images, i would like try what could be done with the current set of photos.
I would be very interested to see what could be done with these images.

Best regards
Bernhard
